Soul Children UK Festival 2023
On June 24th, Soul Children UK hosted their first-ever festival. Choirs came from Buckshaw, Crewe & Nantwich, Dundee Scotland, Salford and Stockport. !Audacious Church in Manchester provided the venue, and the children’s voices and enthusiasm raised the roof with joy. No one anticipated the excitement levels as many of the choirs and choir leaders connected for the first time.
Festival choir leader Tim Uffindell did a brilliant job; both inspiring the young people to sing their hearts out as well as equipping them to take their vocal harmony game to another level. National Leader Chip Kendall says, “We’re over the moon with how well our first Festival went, but trust me we’re only getting started. Our numbers of choirs are set to double in the next term, and there are no signs of slowing down.”

Festival Manchester 2022
Festival Manchester took place on the weekend of 1-3 July 2022 in Wythenshawe Park. This free family festival attracted tens of thousands of people from all over the North West. During the Saturday and Sunday, Festival Manchester also featured bouncy castles, face painting, fairground rides, a skatepark and even a man-made beach to lounge in all afternoon!

On all three evenings we had a massive Soul Children Choir performing on the main Festival Manchester music stage, featuring children from all over Greater Manchester and beyond.
